About the Role
Ambica Dhatu Private Limited is seeking a motivated and experienced Export & Import Executive / Senior Executive to manage international trade operations, logistics coordination, customs documentation, and supplier/vendor communications. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of export-import procedures and be capable of handling end-to-end trade activities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end export and import operations.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain export/import documentation.
- Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA, and logistics partners.
- Negotiate freight rates and shipping arrangements.
- Communicate with overseas customers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Support procurement and sourcing activities.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain MIS reports, shipment records, and operational data.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in Export & Import operations.
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and international trade regulations.
- Experience in logistics coordination and freight negotiation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AEO-2(Authorized Economic Operator) certification and processes.
- Experience in manufacturing or metal industry exports/imports.
- Valid driving license.
