Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, backend development, API design, database architecture, and production-grade system integration. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, hands-on implementation expertise, and experience building scalable AI-powered applications and backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and AI-powered applications using Python and related technologies.
- Lead the implementation, deployment, and integration of AI/ML models into production environments.
- Build robust REST APIs, service layers, and backend architectures for web and mobile applications.
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database solutions for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Convert business and technical requirements into scalable technical architectures and implementation plans.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to backend systems, APIs, databases, and AI workflows.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining code quality and security.
- Contribute to system architecture, sprint planning, technical documentation, and engineering governance.
Required Skills
Backend Development
- Strong expertise in Python and backend development frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Java and multi-language development environments.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and backend integration patterns.
Databases
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or equivalent technologies.
- Strong knowledge of database design, optimization, and data access patterns.
AI/ML & GenAI
- Experience integrating and deploying AI/ML models in production environments.
- Understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), intelligent automation, and AI-powered applications.
- Experience with model orchestration, deployment workflows, and AI system integration.
Cloud & DevOps
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native application deployment.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines,and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and production support processes.
Engineering Excellence
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to own projects from requirement gathering through production deployment.
- Excellent debugging, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of professional experience in AI/ML Engineering, Backend Development, or Software Engineering.
- Proven experience building scalable backend systems and production-ready applications.
- Strong experience with API development, database backed systems, and cloud deployments.
- Ability to work independently, lead technical initiatives, and mentor engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS services, and cloud-native architectures.
- Exposure to vector databases, embeddings, RAG pipelines, AI agents, recommendation systems, and LLM orchestration.
- Experience with observability tools, monitoring solutions, and performance optimization.
- Experience designing scalable architectures and reusable engineering frameworks.
Pay: ₹665,828.01 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
