Role - Yield Manager – India Market
Role Summary
The Yield Manager – India will be responsible for identifying commercial gaps, pricing opportunities, and competitiveness issues at a property level across the assigned domestic hotel portfolio. The role will focus on improving conversion, rate competitiveness, inventory performance, and share of wallet through close coordination with Market Managers, Market Coordinators, and commercial teams.
The position will act as a key support function for driving tactical optimization initiatives and ensuring that assigned hotel portfolios remain commercially competitive across the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Property-Level Yield Optimization

Monitor pricing competitiveness and inventory performance for assigned hotel portfolio.
- Identify commercial gaps related to rates, availability, room mapping, promotions, and visibility.
- Recommend corrective actions to improve conversion and production performance.
Support optimization of margins while maintaining marketplace competitiveness.

Commercial Coordination

Coordinate with Market Managers and commercial teams for implementation of pricing and optimization actions.
- Follow up on pending commercial corrections and tactical opportunities.
- Support execution of promotional campaigns and tactical offers.
Ensure timely resolution of rate parity and competitiveness issues.

Competitor & Market Analysis

Monitor competitor pricing trends and market movements across destinations.
- Identify opportunities where direct contracted hotels can gain competitive advantage.
- Track demand patterns, peak periods, and destination-level opportunities.
Share market intelligence and actionable insights with commercial teams.

Portfolio Performance Monitoring

Analyze hotel-level production trends, booking patterns, and conversion performance.
- Identify low-performing hotels and recommend optimization strategies.
- Support improvement of share of wallet from assigned hotel portfolio.
Monitor performance impact of tactical and pricing initiatives.

Operational Coordination

Coordinate with Connectivity, Loading, and Operations teams for issues impacting competitiveness.
- Highlight mapping issues, sold-out concerns, inventory gaps, and operational bottlenecks.
Ensure corrective actions are implemented within defined timelines.

Reporting & MIS

Prepare regular yield reports, performance trackers, and competitiveness analysis.
- Maintain dashboards for assigned hotel portfolio performance.
- Share daily and weekly optimization updates with management.
