LCI is urgently seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Trainer – Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to join our team in Al Ju'aymah, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
This role offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality technical and vocational training in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), inspection, quality assurance and quality control, combining theoretical learning with practical and workplace-relevant activities.
The successful candidate will bring strong NDT and industrial inspection experience, excellent teaching and facilitation skills, and a commitment to delivering engaging, industry-relevant learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery

Deliver classroom-based, workshop, and practical technical training sessions.

Facilitate learning through presentations, demonstrations, case studies, simulations, and hands-on activities.

Support trainees in applying NDT methods, inspection principles, QA/QC, safety, and workplace best practices.

Monitor learner progress and provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
Curriculum Development

Develop, review, and update training materials, lesson plans, presentations, assessments, and practical exercises.

Ensure training content reflects current industry standards, technologies, and best practices.

Integrate project management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement methodologies into training delivery.
Assessment and Quality Assurance

Conduct trainee assessments and evaluate competency against learning outcomes.

Maintain accurate training and assessment records.

Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Health, Safety and Compliance

Promote safe working practices throughout all training activities.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain training facilities, equipment, and resources in a safe and effective condition.
Essential Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a directly related technical/vocational specialization from a recognized university or institution.

Minimum 3 years of appropriate commercial/industrial experience directly related to Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and/or QA/QC inspection.

Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in post-secondary technical and vocational education and training (TVET).

Strong knowledge of NDT inspection methods, industry safety standards, QA/QC practices, and relevant technical standards.

Excellent presentation, communication, facilitation, report writing, and documentation skills.

Ability to deliver both theoretical and practical competency-based training using specialist NDT equipment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Preferred Qualifications

Professional NDT certifications relevant to the specialist area are highly desirable.

Assessor/IQA or recognized TVET teaching/training qualification is desirable.

Previous experience teaching or training non-native English speakers is desirable.
Language Requirement

For Native English speakers (citizens of the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, or Ireland) there is no need to demonstrate English proficiency

Saudi’s and Non-native English speakers must demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to IELTS Academic 6.5 or higher.
