We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Engineer to strengthen our inside sales team.
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and result-oriented Telecommunication Sales Engineer (Inside Sales) who will be responsible for handling customer follow-up calls, generating sales opportunities, coordinating with field sales engineers, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and a technical understanding of industrial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Make follow-up calls to existing and prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product solutions.
- Generate enquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with field sales engineers for customer visits and quotations.
- Follow up on quotations, purchase orders, and pending enquiries.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to build long-term relationships.
- Update customer interactions in the CRM/ERP system.
- Coordinate with the purchase, logistics, and accounts teams for order execution.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and performance KPIs.
- Resolve customer queries professionally and promptly.
- Prepare daily call reports and sales activity reports.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering field.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may apply.
- 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, or industrial sales is preferred.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication in English and Hindi (Marathi is an added advantage).
- Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.
- Basic technical knowledge of industrial products.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in selling or supporting industrial products such as:

- Industrial Valves, Pumps, Sensors, pressure transmitter, Flow meter and related equipment
