- As per the applicable statutory requirements By the GOI for safety roles in a production/manufacturing unit, candidates are required to hold a valid ADIS/PDIS Diploma. Apart from their eligibility education criteria. This is a mandatory qualification, and the diploma should be issued by a recognized institution such as:
- RLI (Regional Labour Institute)
- CLI/CIL (Central Labour Institute)
- State Technical Education Board or any other State Government-recognized Board/Institution

- High School % : Should not be less than 60% overall. Even 59.1 % would not be rounded off to 60.
- Intermediate %: Should not be less than 60% overall. Even 59.1 % would not be rounded off to 60.
- Graduation %: Not less than 60% ( bachelor's degree in engineering- Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Production, Munition Technology or related discipline).Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety.NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification (preferred).Environmental management qualification (preferred).
- Age Should not be more than 35 Years (Adhar would be verified)
Job PurposeTo establish, implement, and continuously improve Environment, Health, Safety and Explosive Safety Management Systems in an ammunition and explosives manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with all applicable statutory requirements while preventing accidents, protecting personnel, safeguarding assets, and minimizing environmental impact.Experience10-12 years in EHS, preferably in ammunition, explosives, defence manufacturing, mining explosives, propellant production, or other hazardous chemical industries.Experience in explosive safety management, process safety, fire protection, and statutory compliance.Desired Skills

Hazardous Waste Management Rules. Manufacture, Storage and Import of Hazardous Chemicals Rules
- National Building Code (Fire & Life Safety) Relevant guidelines of the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO), Relevant guidelines of Storage Transport and Explosive Committee.
- Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), and State Pollution Control Boards.
- Risk Assessment Conduct HAZOP studies. Carry out Job Safety Analysis (JSA).Perform Process Hazard Analysis (PHA). Develop risk registers. Recommend engineering and administrative controls.
