Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Injection Molding Technician with over 10 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining injection molding machines. The ideal candidate must be deeply involved in shop-floor activities, including mold changing, machine setup, barrel cleaning, and troubleshooting. This is a purely execution-driven role, not suitable for candidates primarily in supervisory or managerial positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mold installation, removal, and changeovers efficiently with minimal downtime
- Set up injection molding machines, including parameter setting (temperature, pressure, cycle time, etc.)
- Conduct barrel cleaning, purging, and routine machine maintenance
- Handle assembly and disassembly of molds and related components
- Monitor production runs and ensure consistent product quality
- Identify and troubleshoot molding defects and process issues
- Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain output standards
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and shop-floor discipline
- Maintain proper documentation of machine settings and process parameters
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in injection molding operations
- Strong expertise in mold changing and machine setup
- Practical experience in barrel cleaning and maintenance procedures
- Good understanding of injection molding processes and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work independently on the shop floor with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with different types of molds and materials (preferred: silicone, polymers, or precision components)
- Basic understanding of quality standards and defect analysis
Preferred Background:
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (medical devices, precision engineering, etc.)
- Prior exposure to high-precision or high-volume production setups
- Technical certification or diploma in plastics/polymer engineering (preferred but not mandatory)
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
