Kitchen Helper Duties & Responsibilities:
Key Duties:
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks.
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
- Store food items properly according to food safety guidelines.
- Receive, check, and organize deliveries of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Assist in stocking and replenishing kitchen inventory.
- Help with packing, plating, and portioning food as directed.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Report equipment malfunctions or shortages to the supervisor.
Skills & Requirements:
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long hours and lift kitchen supplies.
- Attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from kitchen supervisors and chefs.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
