We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store Manager for a Hotel/ Resort Industry to oversee the inventory and stores operations of our hotel/resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and control of all materials, ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing wastage, and supporting the smooth operation of all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel stores and inventory.
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, engineering materials, and other hotel consumables.
- Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory.
- Maintain inventory records using ERP/PMS or inventory management software.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or expired stock and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
- Coordinate with Finance, Purchase, Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Engineering departments for efficient inventory control.
- Minimize inventory losses through effective stock control and security measures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in stores or inventory management, preferably in the hotel, resort, or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and store operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software/ERP systems.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with hotel inventory systems such as Material Control, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, stock valuation, and inventory reconciliation.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Attention to detail with high standards of accuracy.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
