The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be the first dedicated marketing hire at Lawyered. You will be the on-ground marketing executor across the entire Lawyered ecosystem, owning end-to-end execution of marketing initiatives for Challanpay and Lots247 while interfacing with the CMO, an external marketing agency, and internal product, technology, and management teams. You will work in a high-autonomy environment with strong strategic guidance. The role demands someone who thrives in a startup setting, takes ownership proactively, and is hungry to learn every dimension of marketing- from brand positioning and digital campaigns to offline activations.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Content Execution
- Execute brand campaigns and content calendars for Challanpay and Lots247 across digital and offline channels
- Maintain brand consistency and communication standards across all touchpoints
- Assist in developing creatives, copy briefs, and campaign assets in coordination with the marketing agency
Digital Marketing
- Manage and coordinate performance marketing campaigns (social media, search, display) through the agency
- Track and report on digital metrics- reach, engagement, lead generation, and conversion
- Support SEO, email marketing, and WhatsApp/messaging-based campaign execution
Offline On-Ground Activation
- Plan and coordinate local activations, events, and promotional activities as required
- Liaise with vendors and partners for offline marketing collateral and execution
Agency Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the primary day-to-day interface with the marketing agency, via video calls, WhatsApp, phone, and email
- Coordinate with product, technology, and management teams to gather marketing inputs, secure approvals, and ensure execution timelines are met
- Work in a hybrid model with the Fractional CMO, receiving strategic direction and presenting updates regularly
Market Audience Understanding
- Deep-dive into the product ecosystem, target audience behaviour, and category dynamics across both brands
- Conduct competitor and market research to support campaign strategy and positioning decisions
- Support new product launches with marketing planning and go-to-market execution
Education Experience
- MBA from a reputed institution, preferably with a specialisation in Marketing or Brand Management
- 1–2 years of experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, or a broad marketing role
- Experience in a startup, SME, or marketing/digital/brand agency environment is strongly preferred
- Freshers with strong academic grounding and internship experience in relevant roles may also be considered
Skills Competencies
- Working knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals- brand marketing, social media, performance marketing, SEO, email, and content
- Familiarity with brand management principles and marketing communication
- Strong organisational and coordination skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently in an office environment with remote support from the CMO and agency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
- Proficiency with productivity tools: Google Workspace, MS Office, and AI tools; also, basic familiarity with tools like Canva and/or Figma or similar is a plus

Work Environment Structure
You will be based full-time at the Lawyered office in Gurugram. As the first marketing hire, you will be the sole in-office marketing resource. Your key working relationships will be:
- Fractional CMO — strategic direction and guidance (hybrid/remote model; regular check-ins)
- Marketing Agency Partner — day-to-day execution coordination (remote; video calls, WhatsApp, email)
- Product Technology Teams — requirements gathering, campaign assets, and platform support
- Management — approvals, budget discussions, and business context
