Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Academic Delivery
· Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Management, including but not limited to:
o Principles of Management
o Organizational Behaviour
o Human Resource Management
o Marketing Management
o Financial Management
o Operations Management
o Strategic Management
o Entrepreneurship & Innovation
o Business Analytics
o Research Methodology
o Business Communication
o Supply Chain Management
o Digital Marketing
o International Business
· Prepare course plans, lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment strategies.
· Adopt innovative teaching methodologies, including:
o Case-based learning
o Simulations
o Experiential learning
o Project-based learning
o Blended and technology-enabled learning
· Maintain high standards of classroom engagement and academic discipline.
· Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, presentations, projects, and examinations.
· Maintain attendance, academic records, and course documentation as per institutional requirements.
2. Research & Publications
· Conduct high-quality research in Management and allied disciplines.
· Publish research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals indexed in UGC CARE, Scopus, ABDC, Web of Science, or equivalent.
· Present research papers at national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops.
· Undertake funded research projects, consultancy assignments, and collaborative research initiatives.
· Publish books, book chapters, patents, case studies, and teaching notes.
3. Student Mentoring & Guidance
· Mentor students for academic excellence and career development.
· Guide MBA dissertations, research projects, and internships.
· Supervise student research, innovation, and entrepreneurial initiatives.
· Assist students in placements, corporate readiness, and professional certifications.
· Encourage participation in competitions, conferences, and professional forums.
4. Curriculum Development
· Design and revise curriculum in accordance with UGC, AICTE, NEP 2020, and industry requirements.
· Develop new elective and value-added courses in emerging domains such as:
o Business Analytics
o Artificial Intelligence in Business
o Digital Marketing
o FinTech
o Entrepreneurship
o ESG & Sustainability
o Data Analytics
· Prepare learning outcomes, assessment rubrics, and course manuals.
5. Academic Administration
· Participate in departmental meetings, Board of Studies, Academic Council, and curriculum committees.
· Support accreditation and ranking activities including:
o NAAC
o NBA
o NIRF
o AISHE
· Coordinate examinations, admissions, orientation programmes, and institutional events.
· Maintain compliance with academic regulations and quality assurance processes.
6. Industry Engagement
· Develop strong collaborations with industry and corporate organizations.
· Organize:
o Guest lectures
o Industry visits
o Workshops
o Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs)
o Management Development Programmes (MDPs)
o Conferences and seminars
· Facilitate internships, live projects, consultancy assignments, and executive education programmes.
7. Institutional Responsibilities
· Contribute to institutional development and strategic initiatives.
· Participate in admission counselling and student outreach activities.
· Support branding, ranking, and quality enhancement initiatives.
· Perform any additional academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Management.
Educational Qualifications
· Ph.D. in Management or a relevant discipline from a recognized University.
· Master's Degree (MBA/PGDM or equivalent) with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized University.
· Specialization in HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Strategy, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, or related areas.
· NET/SLET/SET qualification shall be as per applicable UGC norms.
Experience
As per the latest UGC Regulations:
· Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized University, College, or accredited research institution.
· At least 4 years of teaching experience after the award of the Ph.D. and 4 years pre-Ph.D.
· Evidence of quality research publications in peer-reviewed or indexed journals.
· Experience in curriculum development, academic administration, and student mentoring is desirable.
· Experience in consultancy, industry collaborations, funded projects, or executive education will be an added advantage.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having:
· Supervision of Ph.D. scholars.
· Funded research projects.
· Published books, patents, or case studies.
· International academic collaborations.
· Experience in Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
· Exposure to LMS platforms (Moodle, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Canvas, etc.).
· Experience in accreditation processes such as NAAC, NBA, AACSB, or EQUIS.
