Job Description – Salesforce ETL Developer (IICS / Informatica | Data Analyst)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce ETL Developer with 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions across Salesforce and enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Informatica (IICS) or PowerCenter, coupled with solid data analysis capabilities to support business insights and reporting.
This role requires working across Salesforce systems, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse environments to ensure seamless data flow, quality, and analytics enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines integrating Salesforce with enterprise data systems
- Build and implement data integration workflows using Informatica (IICS / PowerCenter)
- Extract, transform, and load data from Salesforce objects, databases, and external sources
- Perform data analysis, data profiling, and business data validation
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and reporting
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical data mapping and ETL specifications
- Work on data modeling (dimensional/star schema) to support reporting and analytics
- Implement CDC (Change Data Capture) and SCD Type 1/2 transformations
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across Salesforce and downstream systems
- Perform data reconciliation and validation between source systems and Salesforce
- Support data migration and integration projects involving Salesforce CRM
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams for end-to-end delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in ETL/Data Engineering/Data Integration roles
- Strong hands-on experience in Informatica (IICS or PowerCenter)
- Experience integrating and working with Salesforce data (objects, APIs, CRM data model)
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation
- Experience in data analysis, data mapping, and data profiling
- Experience with data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema)
- Experience in ETL transformations (Joiner, Lookup, Aggregator, Expression, etc.)
- Exposure to API-based integrations (REST/SOAP, Postman)
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Salesforce data integration tools (MuleSoft, Salesforce Data Loader, etc.)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
- Experience in reporting & visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge in data quality frameworks and validation techniques
- Domain experience in Healthcare platforms
