COMMERCIAL MANAGER
Reporting To Managing Director / Directors
Purpose of the Role
To manage the commercial, procurement, costing, inventory, finance coordination, customer order management, and business administration functions of the company while ensuring profitability, compliance, and efficient working capital management.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Management
- Manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, chemicals, packaging materials, and capital equipment.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
Costing & Commercial Analysis
- Develop and maintain product costing models.
- Monitor material and production costs.
- Analyze profitability by product and customer.
- Recommend pricing strategies.
Inventory Management
- Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventories.
- Optimize stock levels and working capital.
- Implement inventory control systems.
Sales Order & Dispatch Coordination
- Coordinate customer orders and dispatch schedules.
- Ensure timely execution of customer commitments.
- Monitor order fulfillment performance.
Finance Coordination
- Coordinate with accounts and auditors.
- Monitor receivables and payables.
- Support budgeting and cash flow planning.
- Ensure commercial documentation accuracy.
Compliance & Documentation
- Oversee commercial contracts and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate insurance, licenses, and regulatory filings.
MIS & Business Reporting
- Prepare management reports and business dashboards.
- Analyze commercial performance indicators.
- Support strategic decision-making with accurate data.
Required Technical Knowledge
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of:

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, or equivalent preferred.
- CA Inter / CMA qualifications would be advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 8–12 years of commercial management experience.
- Experience in manufacturing industries is mandatory.
- Prior experience in engineering, metal processing, wire products, fasteners, industrial components, or similar sectors preferred.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Senior Management Position
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
