1. Contract Review & Drafting
- Draft, review, and redline contracts including PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements), EPC contracts, O&M agreements, AMC agreements, and vendor/subcontractor agreements
- Assist in preparation of MoUs, NDAs, LOIs, and client agreements
- Maintain a contract repository and track expiry, renewal, and compliance milestones
2. Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Monitor and summarise updates from DERC, MNRE, CERC, SERC, and DISCOM portals (BRPL, BSES, TPDDL, DHBVN, UHBVN)
- Support preparation and filing of regulatory submissions, applications, and tariff-related correspondence
- Assist in Virtual Net Metering (VNM) and Green Net Metering (GNM) application compliance
- Track changes to solar net metering, open access, and electricity duty regulations across states
3. Corporate Legal & Secretarial
- Assist with ROC filings, company law compliance, and MCA documentation for Saev P Ltd and affiliated entities (Eco Watt Pvt Ltd, Energy Saving Trust)
- Support in documentation for international entity setup (Mauritius business registration, EDB applications)
- Maintain statutory registers, board resolution records, and compliance calendar
4. Dispute & Litigation Support
- Assist in preparation of legal notices, demand letters, and responses to client/vendor disputes
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on ongoing matters, credit disputes, and payment recovery
- Maintain a litigation tracker and summarise hearing outcomes
5. HR & Employment Law
- Draft employment agreements, offer letters, and HR policies in compliance with applicable labour laws
- Advise on Shops & Establishments Act, Provident Fund, ESI, Gratuity, and other applicable statutes
- Support due diligence for new hire background verification
6. Research & Advisory
- Conduct legal research on renewable energy policy, agrivoltaic regulations, land lease/licensing, and agriculture law
- Prepare legal briefs, memos, and case summaries for management decision-making
- Research international solar regulations relevant to Mauritius and other export markets
