About the Role
Jaisteel International Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to maintain, enhance, and optimize our insurance technology platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with insurance portals similar to RenewBuy, Policy bazaar, or other insurance aggregation and policy management platforms.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing applications, developing new features, integrating APIs with insurance partners, and ensuring seamless performance of the portal.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the company's insurance portal and related applications.
- Develop scalable front-end and back-end features for web-based insurance platforms.
- Integrate APIs with insurance companies, payment gateways, CRM systems, and third-party services.
- Manage policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, claims workflows, and customer data.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with business, operations, and support teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Maintain databases and ensure data integrity and security.
- Perform testing, debugging, deployment, and version control.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Developer.
- Experience working on insurance portals, insurance aggregators, or InsurTech platforms.
- Strong knowledge of:
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
- Node.js, PHP, .NET, or Java
- REST APIs and third-party API integration
- MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
- Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of software security best practices.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior experience in platforms similar to:
- RenewBuy
- Policybazaar
- Insurance broker portals
- Insurance policy management systems
- Digital insurance marketplaces
will be given preference.
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, or an equivalent qualification.
