Role Overview
As an Admission Counselor, you will be the first and most important point of contact for aspiring students. Your role is to understand their career goals and guide them toward the most suitable online course enrollment with Medhavi Skills University.
This is a high-impact sales and counseling role where your success will be measured by the number of successful student enrollments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Conversion
- Contact prospective students via outbound calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
- Explain course features and benefits to encourage enrollments.
Consultative Counseling
- Conduct counseling sessions to understand students’ education background, career goals, and interests.
- Suggest the best-fit online programs.
Pipeline Management
- Manage a high volume of leads using Google Sheets / Google Workspace.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and guide students through the enrollment funnel.
Objection Handling
- Handle queries related to:
- Course fees
- ROI (Return on Investment)
- Curriculum details
- Placement assistance
Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.
Market Awareness
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor courses to guide students better.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- 1–3 years experience in Sales / EdTech / Career Counseling.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills can also apply.
Communication
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
- Strong phone communication and persuasion skills.
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Degree in Marketing or Business is a plus.
Salary
- Freshers: ₹8,000 – ₹12,000 per month
- Experienced (3–4 years Sales experience): Up to ₹25,000 fixed salary
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
