Role Summary
The Cashier cum Stockist is responsible for managing all billing and cashiering activities while ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient stockroom operations. The incumbent will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting seamless store operations, and delivering an exceptional luxury customer experience in line with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process all customer transactions accurately through the POS system, including cash, card, UPI, gift vouchers, exchanges, and refunds.
- Ensure accurate billing, invoice generation, and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Maintain cash records, petty cash, and daily sales reports in compliance with company policies.
- Receive, inspect, and verify merchandise deliveries against invoices and transfer documents.
- Ensure timely inward and outward stock entries in the inventory management system.
- Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits.
- Manage stock transfers, returns, damaged merchandise, and inventory adjustments as per company procedures.
- Ensure all merchandise is correctly tagged, priced, barcoded, and stored.
- Maintain an organized stockroom, ensuring merchandise is stored safely and is easily accessible.
- Coordinate timely replenishment of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
- Monitor stock discrepancies, investigate variances, and report concerns to the Store Manager.
- Support inventory audits and implement loss prevention and shrinkage control measures.
- Deliver a premium checkout experience and provide courteous, professional assistance to customers.
- Assist with gift wrapping, packaging, and other customer service requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth store operations and optimal customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company SOPs, operational guidelines, grooming standards, and luxury retail service expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
- A graduate preferred.
- 3+years of experience in cashiering, inventory management, stock control, or retail operations.
- Prior experience in luxury fashion, premium apparel, lifestyle, or luxury retail will be preferred.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and MS Excel.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism in handling cash and inventory.

Working Hours: As per retail operations, including weekends, public holidays, and rotational shifts.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
