Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Commis 1 (Bakery) to join our culinary team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this entry-level bakery position, you'll work alongside experienced bakers to prepare, bake, and finish a variety of baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety. Prepare baking ingredients by measuring, sifting, and mixing according to established recipes and specifications

Operate bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofing cabinets, following proper safety protocols

Assist in the production of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked items while maintaining consistency in quality and presentation

Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure products are baked to perfection

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment

Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to prevent contamination and ensure product quality

Assist with portioning, packaging, and labeling of finished baked goods

Support senior bakers with specialized tasks such as decorating, filling, or assembling baked products

Rotate stock using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method to maintain ingredient freshness

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders
