Sylvan Ply (India) Limited is looking for a creative and skilled Graphic Designer & Video Editor with at least 1+ year of experience who can create engaging visual designs and high-quality video content for digital and branding requirements.
Job Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kolkata. The Graphic Designer & Video Editor will work closely with the marketing and branding team to create visually engaging creatives and compelling video content for campaigns, product communication, social media, and brand collaterals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design creatives for digital and print platforms (social media, website, brochures, newsletters, ads, packaging, etc.)
- Create and edit engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, brand promotions, reels, and advertisements
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints while bringing fresh and creative ideas
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to translate briefs into impactful visuals and videos
- Support campaign launches with motion graphics, animations, GIFs, and visual storytelling
- Manage design assets, templates, raw footage, and brand libraries for easy team access
- Stay updated on design, video editing, social media trends, tools, and technologies relevant to the industry
- Ability to create versatile creative adaptations for packaging, outdoor branding, retail displays, pricelists, etc.
- Catalogue and report design ideation and formatting
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in graphic design and video editing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) and Canva
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques, transitions, audio syncing, and motion graphics
- Proficiency in AI-powered creative tools for image generation, copy ideation, smart editing, and workflow enhancement
- A strong portfolio/showreel showcasing creativity, visual storytelling, and editing skills
- Understanding of branding, typography, layout design, and color psychology
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, time management, and collaboration skills
Good to Have (Optional):
- Experience working with manufacturing brands or product-based companies
- Familiarity with digital marketing creatives and ad specifications
- Knowledge of photography, videography, or animation
