Qualification:
- ITI Electrician (Preferred) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant technical certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in shipyards, marine vessels, or industrial projects will be preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on marine vessels and of shipyard equipment.
- Perform wiring, testing, and commissioning of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in motors, control panels, lighting systems, and power distribution networks.
- Carry out cable laying, panel wiring, and electrical testing onboard marine vessels.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance.
- Maintain records of electrical work completed and report any defects or safety concerns.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company procedures, and shipyard operational requirements.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Knowledge of marine vessel electrical wiring and onboard electrical installations.
- Ability to use electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
- Understanding of electrical safety practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
