Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor chassis dynamometers for vehicle performance, emissions, and durability testing.
Perform data acquisition, data analysis, and test report generation.
Prepare test vehicles and carry out required instrumentation activities.
Conduct tests in accordance with defined procedures, test cycles (IDC, RWUP), and applicable regulatory standards.
Perform routine calibration checks and basic maintenance of chassis dynamometer equipment.
Record, validate, and analyze test data using data acquisition systems and dynamometer control software.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and test quality standards.
Support the development, improvement, and documentation of test procedures.
Operate and troubleshoot testing instruments, including multi-channel CAN systems, power analyzers, power meters, bidirectional power supplies, and digital and analog sensors.
Utilize diagnostic tools and data acquisition systems for CAN and analog signal analysis.
Demonstrate knowledge of EV and ICE vehicle systems, components, and their functions.
Conduct issue analysis and root cause investigation using structured problem-solving tools and techniques.
Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and review of documentation related to NABL accreditation and laboratory quality systems.
Experience
3 to 6 Year hands on experience on Chassis Dynamometer, And Climatic Chamber Handling.
Industry Preferred
Qualifications
Be.E / B.Tech in Automobile/ Electronics / Eletrical/ Mechanical / Mechatronics
General Requirements
Knowledge of Vehicle CAN Protocols (OBD-II).
Knowledge of Chassis Dynamometer Operation.
Knowledge of Environmental Chamber Operation.
Competent in:
DAQ - Influx Loggers
Familiarity with Dyno control software, especially Dynomerk Controls or equivalent systems.
Software usage - Busmaster, IP Emotion.
Basic troubleshooting of vehicle and Dyno systems.
Exposure to NABL documentation and lab quality systems is a plus.
2 Wheeler, 3 Wheeler & 4 Wheeler driving experience along with valid licence.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
Ability to perform basic engineering calculations related to power, torque, and other vehicle performance specifications.
