Job Summary:
A Video Quality Editor (VQE) is a core member of the Operations team and reports directly to the Project Manager. They keep a close eye on video production quality and ensure the final content is error-free and meets the highest standards. A VQE will also format and finalize PowerPoint presentations for the production team. The role involves working with multiple departments and requires excellent communication, time management, and coordination skills. This role is for an individual who is organized and committed to delivering in a dynamic environment through efficient project management skills and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study the target audience and objectives of the course before initiating the quality check inspection.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively from final edited drafts through completion.
- Review the content in the assembled sections in order to determine if corrections are necessary.
- Format and finalize the PPT presentation to meet quality standards and have it ready before production deadlines.
- Assess the quality of content (audio and video) edited by Video Editors and deliver the best content we can.
- Fix issues as soon as they are spotted during the initial phase of Video development.
- Engage in providing feedback on assembling and polishing the screencasts and recorded content to the Video Editors.
- Prepare a bug log containing all the fixes needed to improve the quality of the video before publication.
- Proof videos to see if captions, highlights, title slides, and other visual components have been properly inserted.
- Highlight editorial errors in the bug log, which will then be worked upon by the Video Editor.
- Provide valuable feedback to the Development and Production Team.

- Good MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to deliver accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Should have an eye for detail.
