Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled MEP BIM Engineer/Modeller with 2–3 years of experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM) for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Revit MEP and other BIM tools to create, update, and manage accurate 3D models and coordinated MEP drawings in line with project standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D MEP models using Revit MEP based on design and engineering inputs.
- Coordinate with architectural and structural BIM teams to ensure clash-free models.
- Create and update construction documents, shop drawings, and as-built models.
- Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts using Navisworks or similar tools.
- Ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plans and project-specific modelling standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain version control and model integrity through proper documentation and file management.
- Support BIM Coordinators and Engineers in model reviews and coordination meetings.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical Engineer, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in MEP BIM modelling in the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Good understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical, etc.)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
