Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 1–3 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting as well as inventory management for a liquor/alcohol shop or bar. The role involves maintaining financial records, monitoring liquor stock, reconciling inventory, and ensuring statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain books of accounts using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Manage liquor and alcohol inventory, including stock inward, outward, and reconciliation.
- Monitor daily stock consumption and identify stock variances or shortages.
- Coordinate with the bar, stores, and purchase team for inventory control.
- Prepare GST invoices and assist with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash, and vendor/customer ledgers.
- Prepare daily sales, inventory, and MIS reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate financial and inventory records.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience in liquor/alcohol inventory management is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial reconciliations.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as an Accountant in the Restaurant, Bar, Pub, Hotel, or Liquor Retail/Wholesale industry.
- Experience in liquor/alcohol stock management and inventory reconciliation is mandatory.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience handling bar/liquor inventory and stock audits.
- Familiarity with POS and inventory management software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
