Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise servers and storage solutions.
- Install and support rack, blade, and tower servers from Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, and other leading OEMs.
- Configure and manage SAN, NAS, DAS, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI storage environments.
- Install, configure, and administer VMware ESXi, vCenter, and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
- Perform server health checks, firmware upgrades, hardware diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
- Configure RAID, storage provisioning, snapshots, replication, and backup solutions.
- Troubleshoot server, storage, virtualization, and operating system issues.
- Coordinate with OEM technical support for hardware replacement and warranty services.
- Perform data center installation, migration, commissioning, and rack integration activities.
- Prepare implementation documents, technical reports, and customer handover documentation.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support during project implementation and post-deployment.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, or similar enterprise servers.
- Strong knowledge of Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM, or Hitachi storage solutions.
- Experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Good understanding of SAN, NAS, RAID, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and storage networking.
- Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, or Veritas.
- Understanding of data center infrastructure, rack management, structured cabling, UPS, and cooling concepts.
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in System Integrators (SI), Data Center Solution Providers, IT Infrastructure, Managed Services, or Enterprise Support will be preferred. Experience in implementing enterprise data center solutions for customers across networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments is highly desirable.
