Job Description of an Operation Theater Technician
- Preparing the operation theater before surgery
- Sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment
- Assisting doctors and nurses during operations
- Handling surgical tools and supplies
- Monitoring operation theater equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness and infection control
- Transporting patients to and from the OT
- Managing biomedical waste disposal
- Keeping records of instruments and surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Help in positioning the patient.
- Dispose of biomedical waste safely
- Clean and sterilize instruments
- Prepare the OT for the next procedure
- Maintain inventory and stock records
- Report damaged equipment or shortages
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
