Job Title: Banquet Sales Executive Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and customer-focused Banquet Sales Executive to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving banquet and event revenue by identifying prospective clients, conducting venue tours, and managing events from initial inquiry to execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in hospitality sales, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities * Lead Generation & Sales: Proactively source, cultivate, and secure new banquet, wedding, corporate event, and social gathering leads through networking, cold calling, and industry partnerships. * Client Engagement & Tours: Conduct personalized site inspections and venue walkthroughs for prospective clients, effectively showcasing our spaces, packages, and amenities. * Proposal & Contract Management: Prepare competitive proposals, custom event menus, and cost estimates; negotiate pricing and contract terms while maximizing profit margins. * Event Coordination & Handover: Collaborate closely with the operations, culinary, and setup teams to ensure seamless execution of all booked events and a smooth transition of client details to the operations department. * Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and vendors to encourage repeat business and positive referrals. * Market Research: Stay informed about local competitors, industry trends, and pricing strategies to maintain our competitive edge in the market. * Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of sales pipelines, customer interactions, and bookings using our CRM or property management software, and generate regular sales reports. Qualifications & Requirements * Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of proven experience in banquet sales, hotel event coordination, or a related hospitality sales role. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field. * Skills: * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. * Strong negotiation, closing, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Delphi) and Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously. * Work Style: A customer-first mindset with a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
