Job Description – Test Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Engineer with experience in both Manual and Automation Testing to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with testing tools, defect tracking, and a strong understanding of the Banking and Financial Services domain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute manual and automated test cases based on project requirements.
* Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.
* Ensure adequate test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
* Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams.
* Follow up on defect resolution and support test reporting activities.
* Contribute to process improvements and testing best practices.
Mandatory Skills:
* 2+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
* Experience with Selenium, QTP/UFT, JMeter, or similar testing tools.
* Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent tools.
* Good understanding of Banking and Financial Services domain.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Microsoft Playwright experience.
* ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent certification.
* Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Experience working with offshore teams or Japanese clients.
* Japanese language proficiency is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
