Position: HR Intern
Reports To: HR Manager / HR Executive
Purpose of the Job
To support the HR department in day-to-day employee coordination, documentation, attendance, recruitment, onboarding, and general HR activities while gaining practical exposure to HR operations in a manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the HR team in maintaining employee records, files, and HR documentation.
- Support daily attendance, leave, and absenteeism tracking.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining employee joining and exit documentation.
- Support recruitment activities such as calling candidates, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records.
- Assist in the onboarding process of new employees, including document collection and induction coordination.
- Support preparation and updating of Job Descriptions (JDs), employee lists, and HR reports.
- Coordinate with employees and supervisors regarding routine HR requirements.
- Assist in maintaining manpower and department-wise employee records.
- Support HR activities related to employee engagement, training, and communication.
- Assist in maintaining proper filing of employee documents and ensuring confidentiality.
- Support preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports as required.
- Assist with basic HR data entry and updating HR/attendance systems.
- Support factory HR activities including employee coordination, discipline, housekeeping, and general HR administration.
- Follow company policies, HR procedures, safety rules, and confidentiality requirements.
- Perform any other HR-related duties assigned by the HR Manager / HR Executive.
Key Skills
- Basic knowledge of HR functions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic MS Excel and MS Word knowledge
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to coordinate with employees and departments
- Basic understanding of attendance and recruitment processes
Education
Preferred: BBA / BMS / MBA (HR) / Graduate in Human Resources or related field.
Experience
Freshers / Students pursuing HR-related courses are welcome.
Key Performance Areas (KRA)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
