Key Responsibilities
- Decontamination: Collect, sort, and thoroughly wash, rinse, and decontaminate used medical instruments to remove blood, tissue, and biological debris.
- Packaging and Assembly: Inspect instruments for functionality and cleanliness, assemble surgical trays, and package them according to established regulatory guidelines.
- Sterilization Operation: Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot sophisticated sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves, ethylene oxide (ETO) sterilizers, and plasma sterilizers.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor sterilization cycles, conduct biological and chemical indicator tests, and log records to ensure 100% sterility.
- Inventory Management: Maintain organized tracking and storage of sterile supplies, and coordinate with Operating Theatre (OT) staff for the timely delivery of instrument sets.
Pay: ₹10,043.59 - ₹26,181.07 per month
