Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support hair transplant procedures and clinical operations. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in graft handling, preparation of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), maintaining sterile environments, managing laboratory processes, and supporting doctors during hair restoration procedures. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of medicines used in hair transplant treatments, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesHair Transplant Support
- Assist surgeons and medical staff during hair transplant procedures.
- Support graft extraction, sorting, counting, preservation, and handling as per clinical protocols.
- Ensure proper storage and hydration of grafts throughout procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of graft counts and procedure-related documentation.
PRP Preparation & Administration Support
- Collect blood samples and prepare Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) using approved centrifugation techniques.
- Ensure proper labeling, processing, and handling of PRP samples.
- Assist doctors during PRP therapy sessions and related treatments.
- Maintain PRP equipment and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Laboratory & Clinical Operations
- Maintain sterilization and infection-control standards in procedure rooms and laboratories.Medicines & Clinical Knowledge
- Possess working knowledge of medicines commonly used in hair restoration treatments, including pre-operative and post-operative medications.
- Understand medication storage requirements, dosage instructions, and basic contraindications.
- Assist in maintaining medication inventory and ensuring compliance with clinic protocols.
- Support patient education regarding prescribed medications under physician supervision.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain patient records, laboratory reports, and procedure documentation accurately.
- Follow clinic SOPs, safety guidelines, biomedical waste management, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT), or equivalent qualification.
- Certification or training in PRP preparation is preferred.
- Prepare instruments, consumables, and treatment materials before procedures.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and report any maintenance requirements.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies, PRP kits, reagents, and consumables.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
