About the Company- Furniture Shop
A Warehouse Executive in the furniture industry manages inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing furniture pieces, raw materials (wood, fabric), and components. They are responsible for accurately tracking stock levels using inventory management software, ensuring proper, damage-free storage, coordinating dispatch, and maintaining a clean warehouse, often requiring physical stamina and forklift operation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management & Accuracy: Maintain precise records of all incoming and outgoing materials, performing regular stock takes to reconcile physical stock with digital records.
- Receiving & Inspection: Inspect incoming furniture shipments for damage or defects, verifying quantity against purchase orders
- Storage & Handling: Ensure specialized storage techniques for furniture to prevent damage, such as proper stacking, climate control for wood, and securing fragile items like glass panels.
- Dispatch & Issuance: Fulfill orders for delivery or production, carefully packing finished furniture items for shipment.
- Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, complying with safety protocols to prevent hazards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Previous experience (often 1–5+ years) in a warehouse setting, specifically with furniture or bulky goods.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in inventory software
- and Microsoft Office, and communication skills.
- Physical Aptitude: Ability to lift, push, and handle heavy furniture items.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory control systems and, ideally, forklift operation certifications.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
