Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Hair Stylist to join our salon team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hair care, stays updated on the latest trends, and provides exceptional customer service while delivering high-quality hair styling, cutting, coloring, and treatment services.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and desired styles.
- Perform haircuts, trims, styling, blow-drying, and finishing services.
- Provide hair coloring, highlights, balayage, and other chemical treatments.
- Recommend suitable hairstyles based on face shape, hair texture, and lifestyle.
- Educate clients on proper hair care and recommend salon products.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, tools, and equipment.
- Schedule appointments and manage client records when required.
- Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, and salon products.
- Follow salon safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Hair Styling or Cosmetology (preferred).
- Previous experience as a Hair Stylist is an advantage.
- Knowledge of haircutting, coloring, styling, and hair treatments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about beauty and fashion.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
