We are looking for a creative and skilled Freelance Video Editor who can turn raw footage, scripts, ideas, and AI-generated content into engaging, high-quality videos for social media and digital marketing.
What You'll Work On
You may work on different types of video content depending on the project, including:
- Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts
- Social media marketing videos
- Promotional & advertising videos
- AI-generated videos
- AI avatar / AI character videos
- Kinetic typography & text animations
- Motion graphics
- Creative transitions and effects
- Product/service promotional videos
- Talking-head videos
- Educational & informational content
- Brand videos
- Short-form ad creatives
- Before/after and storytelling videos
- Trend-based social media content
What We're Looking For
We need someone who can understand the idea behind a video and execute it creatively, rather than just doing basic cuts and adding music.
You should have good knowledge of:
- Professional video editing
- Smooth and creative transitions
- Motion graphics & animations
- Kinetic typography
- Text effects and visual storytelling
- Sound effects & audio syncing
- Color correction & basic color grading
- Reels/Shorts editing
- AI video generation and editing
- Creating engaging hooks and visual effects
- Social-media-friendly editing styles
- Following current video trends
Experience with tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Canva, AI video tools, or similar software is a plus.
Requirements
- Strong sense of creativity and visual aesthetics
- Good understanding of short-form content
- Ability to work with references and recreate/improve a particular editing style
- Ability to work from scripts, raw footage, voiceovers, or AI-generated assets
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working on different types of projects
- Good communication and responsiveness
