Position Title: Commerce Teacher (PGT/TGT)
Department: Academics
Reporting To: Principal / Academic Incharge
Job Summary:
MP Public School is seeking a qualified and passionate Commerce Teacher to teach Commerce subjects, including Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and Entrepreneurship (as applicable), to secondary and senior secondary students. The teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering analytical and business-oriented thinking, and preparing students for board examinations and future career opportunities in commerce and business. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Commerce subjects as per the CBSE/State Board curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive entrance exams.
- Assess student performance through tests, projects, presentations, and practical activities.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, digital tools, and real-life business case studies.
- Provide career guidance related to Commerce, CA, CS, CMA, B.Com, MBA, and other professional courses.
- Foster critical thinking, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial skills among students.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic planning sessions.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com).
- Master's Degree in Commerce (M.Com) / MBA / relevant specialization preferred.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution (mandatory as per school norms).

Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.
- Experience teaching Classes XI & XII preferred.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and board examination patterns. (Indeed)

- Strong subject knowledge in Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Effective classroom management abilities.
- Proficiency in using smart boards, LMS platforms, and digital teaching tools.
