Product Expertise Deep knowledge of: Linen types (pure linen, blends, GSM differences) Fabric uses (shirts, suits, casual vs formal) Seasonal trends and color matching Guide customers on fabric quantity, shrinkage, and care. Assist in basic styling decisions (this is where average staff fail). 3. Visual Merchandising & Store Discipline Maintain premium look of store (this is not a roadside shop). Ensure: Fabrics are neatly stacked and categorized Displays are updated based on promotions Spot gaps: slow-moving inventory, dead stock. 4. Billing & Operations Handle POS billing accurately. Coordinate with tailoring unit (if applicable). Manage stock entries, tagging, and replenishment. 5. Customer Retention Build repeat customers (weddings, office wear, bulk buyers). Maintain client database (phone follow-ups for new arrivals). Handle complaints without losing the customer.
