Role description
We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using modern AWS infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Node.js and Typescript for backend application development
- Hands-on experience building GraphQL services
- Solid experience with AWS, including infrastructure-as-code using CDK, SAM, or CloudFormation
- Good understanding of scalable, secure, and high-availability backend architectures
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js
- Build and manage APIs (REST/GraphQL) consumed by frontend and external systems
- Implement cloud infrastructure and deployments using AWS IaC tools
- Ensure performance, security, and reliability of backend systems
- Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools in AWS
