The Vehicle Evaluator is responsible for inspecting and evaluating used vehicles to determine their condition, market value, and suitability for purchase or exchange. The role involves assessing mechanical and cosmetic conditions, preparing evaluation reports, coordinating with the service team, and ensuring profitable procurement of quality pre-owned vehicles.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed inspections of used vehicles, including exterior, interior, engine, transmission, suspension, tires, and electrical systems.
- Perform test drives to assess vehicle performance and identify potential issues.
- Determine the fair market value of vehicles based on condition, age, mileage, service history, and market trends.
- Prepare accurate vehicle evaluation reports with photographs and observations.
- Coordinate with the workshop to estimate repair and refurbishment costs.
- Negotiate trade-in and purchase values with customers in line with company policies.
- Verify vehicle documents such as Registration Certificate (RC), insurance, service records, and ownership history.
- Ensure all purchased vehicles comply with legal and company standards.
- Maintain records of evaluations, purchases, and customer interactions.
- Work closely with the sales and procurement teams to achieve monthly purchase targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing for used vehicles.
- Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Required Qualifications :
- Diploma/ITI/Graduate in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any relevant discipline.
- Freshers with strong automotive knowledge or experienced candidates are welcome.
- Valid 4-Wheeler Driving License (Mandatory).
Experience :
- 0–3 years of experience in automobile service, used car evaluation, vehicle inspection, or related fields.
- Experience in the used car industry is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
