Primary Coordinator – Grades 3 to 5
Reporting To
Principal / Vice Principal
Purpose of the Role
The Primary Coordinator (Grades 3 to 5) is responsible for the academic, operational, and pastoral management of Grades 3 to 5. The role involves ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, curriculum implementation, student achievement, staff development, parent engagement, and smooth day-to-day functioning of the primary school section in alignment with EuroSchool's philosophy and educational objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership
- Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum across Grades 3 to 5.
- Monitor lesson planning, classroom transactions, assessments, and learning outcomes.
- Support teachers in delivering engaging, student-centric, and inquiry-based learning experiences.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Analyze student performance data and implement improvement strategies.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus and academic plans.
Staff Management & Development
- Mentor, guide, and support teachers to enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and professional development sessions.
- Monitor teacher performance and contribute to appraisal processes.
- Assist in onboarding and induction of new teachers.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work culture within the primary team.
Student Development & Well-being
- Monitor student progress, attendance, behavior, and overall well-being.
- Coordinate interventions for students requiring academic or behavioral support.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Support implementation of SEL (Social Emotional Learning) and life skills programs.
Parent Engagement
- Build strong relationships with parents through effective communication.
- Conduct parent meetings and address concerns proactively.
- Collaborate with teachers to ensure timely sharing of student progress and feedback.
- Support parent orientation programs and school engagement initiatives.
School Operations
- Coordinate daily academic and administrative activities for Grades 3 to 5.
- Ensure adherence to school policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate examinations, assessments, report cards, and academic events.
- Support school events, assemblies, celebrations, field trips, and competitions.
- Maintain accurate academic and student-related records.
Quality Assurance
- Drive continuous improvement in teaching-learning processes.
- Ensure implementation of EuroSchool's educational standards and best practices.
- Monitor curriculum delivery, assessment quality, and student outcomes.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and accreditation-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's /Master's Degree in Education or relevant subject.
- B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- Additional certifications in educational leadership or curriculum development will be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of teaching experience in Primary School.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a leadership role such as Coordinator, HOD, or Team Leader.
- Experience with CBSE/ICSE/IB curriculum frameworks preferred.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Days: As per school norms and academic calendar.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
