About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Inside Sales Engineer with at least 1 year of experience in B2B sales of industrial products. The candidate will be responsible for generating business opportunities, managing customer relationships, preparing quotations, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other lead-generation activities.
- Handle inbound inquiries from customers and provide product information and technical support.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable industrial products and solutions.
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial quotations.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers to generate repeat business.
- Coordinate with the technical, procurement, and operations teams for order execution.
- Maintain accurate customer data, sales pipeline, and activities in CRM.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
- Support field sales engineers by scheduling meetings and qualifying leads.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in B2B inside sales of industrial products.

- Pumps & Valves
- HVAC Products
- Electrical Equipment
- Instrumentation Products
- Material Handling Equipment
- Industrial Consumables
- Engineering Services
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using CRM software is preferred.
- Good commercial awareness and customer relationship management skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in lead generation, cold calling, and business development.
- Comfortable interacting with purchase managers, maintenance heads, plant managers, and engineering teams.
- Self-motivated with a strong sales mindset.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
