About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the Textile Industry. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of accounting processes, GST, taxation, financial reporting, and textile industry operations. Candidates without textile industry experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare financial forecasts.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage inventory accounting and costing related to textile operations.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for business improvement.
- Supervise and guide the accounts team when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Accountant.
- Textile Industry experience is mandatory.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Expertise in bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost management.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Experience in audit preparation and compliance management.
