Job Summary
Shanthi Bhavan Old Age Home is seeking sincere, hardworking, and compassionate Housekeeping Staff to maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for our elderly residents. The candidate should be willing to stay on the premises and work as part of a dedicated caregiving team.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the entire premises, including resident rooms, corridors, dining areas, offices, and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and toilets regularly.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect all assigned areas.
- Assist in serving food to elderly residents during meal times.
- Keep residents' rooms neat, clean, and organized.
- Collect and dispose of waste hygienically.
- Wash and clean resident beds, furniture, and surrounding areas as required.
- Assist caretakers in providing support to bedridden residents whenever needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
- Follow hygiene and infection control practices.
Eligibility
- Experience in housekeeping, hospital cleaning, old age home, hostel, or institutional cleaning is preferred.
- Freshers with a willingness to work are also encouraged to apply.
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties.
- Honest, disciplined, and responsible.
- Willing to stay at the old age home (residential position).
