Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Bidding Manager to lead the organization's tendering and proposal management activities. The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities through tenders, preparing competitive bids, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate tender opportunities from government, public sector, and private organizations.
- Review tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with technical, finance, legal, procurement, and management teams for bid preparation.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals within stipulated timelines.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements, company policies, and client expectations.
- Manage the complete bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to contract award.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to improve bid success rates.
- Maintain tender databases, bid records, and submission documentation.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, client discussions, and clarification sessions.
- Track bid outcomes and prepare reports on tender performance and win ratios.
- Support contract negotiations and post-award documentation activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of tendering and procurement processes.
- Experience in Government e-Marketplace (GeM), CPP Portal, and other tender platforms.
- Excellent proposal writing and documentation skills.
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under strict deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience handling government, PSU, infrastructure, IT, engineering, aviation, or industrial tenders.
- Proven track record of successful bid submissions and tender wins.
