Role Overview
We are seeking a high-ownership Flutter Developer who can build and scale production-grade mobile applications. You will be responsible for developing feature-rich, performance-optimized Flutter apps, integrating secure APIs, ensuring privacy-first engineering practices, and delivering polished experiences across Android and iOS. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to ship stable releases on time.
Key Responsibilities
1) Mobile App Development (Flutter)
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform applications using Flutter & Dart.
- Translate Figma/UI designs into pixel-perfect, responsive components.
- Build reusable UI components, design systems, and scalable feature modules.
- Improve app performance (startup time, memory usage, smooth animations, frame drops) and overall stability.
2) Architecture & State Management
- Implement clean architecture and modular code structure for long-term scalability.
- Use and standardize a state management approach such as Bloc / Riverpod / Provider / GetX.
- Ensure maintainable code with clear separation of concerns (UI, state, data, services).
3) API & Backend Integration
- Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Implement secure authentication and session handling (JWT / OAuth / Firebase Auth).
- Handle pagination, caching, offline-first patterns (where required), and network resiliency.
- Collaborate with backend teams to define contracts, optimize payloads, and troubleshoot integration issues.
4) Security, Privacy & Compliance (Mental Health Domain)
- Implement best practices for securing sensitive user data (storage, transmission, token safety).
- Ensure privacy-first handling of user sessions, personal health-related data, and user consent flows.
- Follow secure coding practices and support audit readiness where applicable.
5) Testing, Monitoring & Release Management
- Write and maintain unit tests, widget tests, and integration tests.
- Own app release cycles and deployments to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Monitor crash reports and performance using tools like Firebase Crashlytics / Sentry.
- Troubleshoot bugs, reduce crash rates, and continuously improve release quality.
6) Team Collaboration
- Work in an Agile environment: sprint planning, estimations, daily syncs, and retrospectives.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices and documentation.
- Coordinate with designers and product to refine UX flows and ensure feature clarity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have (Core Requirements)
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development.
- Strong proficiency in Flutter & Dart.
- Proven experience of building and shipping at least 3 mobile apps (Android/iOS) to production (store links or portfolio required).
- Solid experience with REST API integration, JSON parsing, and networking.
- Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore/Realtime DB, FCM Notifications, Crashlytics).
- Strong understanding of state management (Bloc/Riverpod/Provider/GetX).
- Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows.
- Good understanding of mobile app lifecycle, performance optimization, and debugging.
Good-to-Have (Strong Advantages)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Codemagic).
- Familiarity with local databases (Hive / SQLite) and offline sync patterns.
- Understanding of secure storage (Keychain/Keystore), encryption basics, and token management.
- Exposure to video/audio integrations (tele-therapy), WebRTC or SDK-based calling is a plus.
- Experience working in a product startup environment with fast iterations.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging mindset with ownership-driven execution.
- Attention to detail and commitment to clean, maintainable code.
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across Product/Design/Backend.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver within deadlines.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field (preferred).
- Relevant project portfolio and strong hands-on experience can be considered equivalent.
