Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior Consultant – SAP Basis & SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) with expertise in SAP Cloud ALM to design, implement, administer, and optimize SAP landscapes across on-premise and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP Basis administration, SAP BTP services, cloud integration, system monitoring, and lifecycle management. You will work closely with functional, technical, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing SAP environments
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support SAP Basis landscapes across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain SAP systems including S/4HANA, ECC, and NetWeaver.
- Implement and manage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services and subaccounts.
- Configure and support SAP Cloud ALM for monitoring, implementation, operations, and integration scenarios.
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Manage transport management, client administration, and system refresh activities.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams for SAP deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
- Ensure system availability, security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance with SAP best practices.
- Support SAP integration with cloud and third-party applications.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in production support and on-call activities as required.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
- Experience implementing and administering SAP Cloud ALM.
- Expertise in SAP system installation, upgrades, patching, kernel upgrades, and migrations.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, NetWeaver, and HANA Database administration.
- Strong knowledge of transport management, client administration, and system monitoring.
- Experience with SAP security concepts, user administration, and authorizations.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and database administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) supporting SAP workloads.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager.
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and SAP Cloud Connector.
- Experience with automation and scripting using Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
- SAP Basis, SAP BTP, or SAP Cloud ALM certifications.
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
