Engineer **Company Name:** EES VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED **Job Type:** Full-Time **Department:** Operations & Installation **Project Scale:** kW (Kilowatt) Scale Solar Rooftop Projects (Residential & Commercial) ### **Job Summary:** EES VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a skilled and experienced Solar Rooftop Installation Technician/Engineer to join our growing solar energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for execution, structural mounting, electrical wiring, and commissioning of kW-scale solar rooftop projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. --- ### **Key Responsibilities:** * **Site Survey & Assessment:** Conduct pre-installation site surveys, perform shadow analysis, evaluate roof strength, and plan layout optimization. * **Structural Installation:** Assemble and securely install solar mounting structures (GI/Aluminum) on various types of rooftops with precise alignment. * **Module Placement:** Properly handle and fix solar PV modules onto the structures according to design layouts. * **Electrical Wiring & Connections:** Execute DC/AC cabling, string connections, inverter installation, and final connection to the main distribution board. * **Earthing & Safety Setup:** Install robust earthing systems and lightning arrestors (LA) to safeguard the solar setup. * **System Commissioning:** Test open-circuit voltage ($V_{oc}$), short-circuit current ($I_{sc}$), and overall system performance before successfully commissioning the kW-scale plants. * **Maintenance & Troubleshooting:** Diagnose operational faults, perform preventive maintenance, and assist clients with net-metering processes. --- ### **Requirements & Qualifications:** * **Education:** ITI (Electrician/Wireman), Diploma, or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. * **Experience:** 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in kW-scale solar rooftop installations (On-grid and Off-grid systems). * **Technical Skills:** Strong understanding of solar PV system components, inverter configurations, electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), and wiring codes. * **Safety Awareness:** Strict adherence to height safety protocols, including mandatory use of safety harnesses, helmets, and safety shoes. * **Soft Skills:** Ability to lead a local installation team, manage site timelines, and effectively communicate with clients. --- ### **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary based on experience and industry standards. * Travel and site allowances. * A safe, supportive, and growth-oriented working environment.
