About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Administrator to manage and
support the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for hardware and software support, user
account management, network administration, IT asset management, and providing
timely technical assistance to employees.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level and second-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, printers, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
Manage user accounts, email IDs, permissions, and access across various platforms.
Configure and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and coordinate with ISPs whenever required.
Set up laptops, desktops, and accessories for new joiners and ensure timely deactivation and asset collection during employee exits.
Maintain inventory of IT assets, software licenses, and accessories.
Perform regular system updates, security patches, antivirus management, and routine health checks.
Monitor system performance and ensure timely backups of critical data.
Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, AMC renewals, and procurement of IT equipment.
Assist in implementing IT security policies and ensure compliance with company standards.
Document IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and maintain accurate service records.
Support meeting room setup, video conferencing, and office AV equipment.
Manage CCTV, biometric attendance devices, and office access systems (preferred).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience as an IT Administrator, Desktop Support Engineer, or
System Administrator.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
Experience with Active Directory, user management, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Hands-on experience with laptop/desktop troubleshooting and hardware maintenance.
Familiarity with printers, routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi configuration.
Knowledge of antivirus solutions, endpoint security, and backup procedures.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 or Google
Workspace.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and provide prompt technical support.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, or similar.
Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Exposure to IT asset management tools and ticketing systems.
Knowledge of remote desktop tools and endpoint management solutions.
