Role Overview The Key Account Manager will own the P&L, growth strategy, and execution for Priority / Traworld across India’s leading e-commerce platforms—Amazon and Flipkart. The mandate is to move from marketplace participation to category leadership, driving sustained market share gains, superior visibility, and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Growth Strategy, P&L & Platform Management Own revenue, margins, and profitability across Amazon and Flipkart. Execute a roadmap to achieve 5–10% market share in luggage and ~10% in backpacks by Year
Lead Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with platform category teams. Secure premium visibility through banners, events, platform programs, and deal placements. Define pricing architecture, discount thresholds, and liquidation triggers while protecting channel integrity.
2. Portfolio & Digital Shelf Excellence Build and manage a focused, high-velocity product portfolio with clearly defined Hero SKUs.
Continuously optimize the assortment by pruning low-performing SKUs. Own all on-platform content including A+/EBC, Brand Stores, product videos, and infographics.
Conceptualize and execute platform-exclusive initiatives such as bundles, exchanges, and travel-focused offerings.
3. Performance Marketing & Event Readiness Plan, deploy, and optimize Amazon Ads (AMS) and Flipkart advertising budgets. Drive sustainable growth by balancing TACoS, organic rank improvement, and profitability.
4. Lead end-to-end preparation for marquee events such as Great Indian Festival (GIF) and Big Billion Days (BBD) with 60-day forward planning.
5. Operations, Supply Chain & Voice of Customer Ensure 98%+ fill rates across Marketplace and Outright (B2B) models. Work closely with manufacturing and SCM teams to align production with demand forecasts. Monitors customer ratings, reviews, and returns to extract Voice of Customer (VoC) insights.
Partner with product and packaging teams to reduce RTOs and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/ Marketing or Ecommerce Postgraduate or MBA qualification in Sales/ Marketing Management will be an added advantage Skills & experience 5–8 years of experience managing Amazon and Flipkart accounts for consumer brands preferably from luggage /handbags or from fashion industry.
Proven track record of scaling revenue and market share in competitive categories.
Strong analytical ability to translate marketplace data into actionable growth strategies.
Commercially sharp negotiator with experience engaging platform category managers.
Solid understanding of product construction and quality benchmarks (hard luggage vs soft luggage preferred).
Pay: Up to ₹2,300,000.00 per year
