Job Description: Statutory Compliance Team Lead
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Statutory Filings & Registrations: Ensure timely submission of half-yearly and annual returns under the Factories act.
- Payroll & Social Security: Payroll Processing with SAP B1,Manage EPF, ESI, Professional Tax (PT), and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) contributions and monthly payments also Bonus and Full & Final settlement.
- Contract Labour Management: Ensure compliance with the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, including tracking contractor licensing, wage registers, and attendance.
- Factory Inspection & Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with Factory Inspectors, Labour Departments, and Pollution Control Board officials for inspections and audits.
- Register Maintenance: Maintain mandatory registers: Muster Roll , Overtime Register, Register of Wages, etc.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Monitor adherence to workplace safety, including PPE provision, first-aid, ventilation, and fire safety norms and Audit.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Any degree or Labor Law specialization preferred.
- Experience: 8–12 years of hands-on plant/factory HR experience.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of TN Factory Rules, PF/ESI portals, PCB and labour law amendments.
- Languages: Good in communication and Clarity in speech.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and SAP B1.
