Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and student-focused Student Counselor to support students throughout their study abroad journey. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, expertise in English proficiency coaching, and the ability to guide students in selecting suitable academic programs and universities abroad. The counselor will be responsible for providing end-to-end assistance, from career counseling to visa application support.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counseling & Career Guidance
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities.
- Assess students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and interests to recommend suitable study destinations and programs.
- Provide accurate information about universities, courses, admission requirements, scholarships, and career prospects.
University Selection & Application Support
- Assist students in identifying suitable universities and programs based on their academic profile and career aspirations.
- Guide students through university application procedures and admission requirements.
- Support students in preparing Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), and other application documents.
Documentation Assistance
- Review and verify student documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate the collection, preparation, and submission of academic and supporting documents.
- Maintain proper records and documentation throughout the application process.
Visa Guidance & Student Support
- Provide guidance on student visa requirements, procedures, and documentation.
- Assist students in preparing visa applications and interview readiness.
- Follow up with students throughout the admission and visa process until successful enrollment.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, universities, and partner institutions.
- Conduct follow-ups with prospective students and convert inquiries into enrollments.
- Participate in educational seminars, workshops, webinars, and promotional events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Master's Degree preferred).
- Prior experience in Study Abroad Counseling, Overseas Education Consulting, Student Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Knowledge of international admission procedures and visa processes.
- Familiarity with English proficiency examinations such as IELTS, PTE, and TOEFL.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student management systems.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
